Warning - Media statistics have been lost some time in the past.

Any ideas? Happens every night.

Hello,

Since when does this warning occur? Does the tape drive go offline? Are there any device related errors in the Windows event logs? Go to the properties tab of the device in 'devices' tab and check if it shows any hard write errors in the statistics tab.

Ensure that you are using the latest Symantec device drivers:

Are there any event id 9 or 11 related to the device?

If yes then please contact hardware manufacturer for more details on this
