We recently concluded our several of our launch webinars introducing the NEW Veritas Backup Exec 21. The recording is now available on demand. Just use the information below to access.
Here’s what we have found to be great about these virtual product launch events:
While virtual helped us increase launch participation, it isn’t for the faint of heart. Planning a virtual event takes every bit of effort as other options, if not more. But the outcome is well worth the effort and massive thanks to the entire team for all the support.
If you’ve participated in the previous Backup Exec launch webinars, you will find these were a bit different. Prior webinars were focused on just the new features.
But these webinars were different, and one of many more to come, where we partnered with customers, resellers, and our tech alliances to provide insights to industry trends and how Backup Exec 21 is addressing those challenges.
I had the pleasure of hosting few of these launch events in India and Asia-south! We had couple of customers from different domains (Pharmaceutical and finance) who spoke about their experience with Backup Exec. We also had the VMware team who reiterated about our pedigree partnership with VMware and our day-one support for the latest vSphere 7.0 and vSAN 7.0
If you have followed our journey over the last few years, you’ve noticed that we have evolved into a much stronger platform with continuous streams of feature updates as well as fixes to ensure we are continually delivering value to our customers along the way.
We have a completely agile development methodology which has helped us deliver better user experience and bring you cool new features and enhancements faster than ever before.
It has been busy last few months here at Veritas, where behind the scenes we have been working hard to bring you this new Backup Exec 21.
If you are a Backup Exec (post Backup Exec 2012) user, you’ll actually see little cosmetic difference – sans the new Veritas branding, new Instant Cloud Recovery tab, and new widgets for advanced cloud and virtual protection. This was done so you’ll feel right at home, but there are numerous new features and improvements that are spread throughout our latest version.
We had a good participation with many attendees getting engaged throughout the webinar and lot of great questions from engaged viewers.
Here’s what we covered:

This new version is the foundation of all the great things with loads of innovation and improvements to take your Data Protection experience to a whole new level.
Stay tuned as there's plenty more to come and thank you for your continued support of Backup Exec.
Thank you,
