We have an issue after upgrading Backup Exec from 8.6 to 11d. From an old to a new server.
We can import without any problem tapes created on 8.6 but we don't know how to import Backup to disk folders created in 8.6 in 11d. I noted that the directory content is different (there are two files in 8.6 and 3 files in 11d). We had to reinstall version 8.6 on a PC to be able to restore an old file. As the old server is still on line and is backed up now by the new server, we couldn't reinstall 8.6. I hope that there is an easier way to do this.
What is the procedure of importing Backup to disk folders created in version 8.6 to the version 11d ?
