I need to know which logs are included in the shadow copy protection. Are they the basic Application, System, and Security or do they include other logs like the AD event logs?
This is in relation to another forum question where I was wondering if you can do a restore to a selective directory. I figured I didnt need to worry if I could figure which logs are backed up as I can just make a copy of the originals.
It includes everything- Sys, Sec, App, FRS, NTDS, & DNS.
I think I remember your earlier post- you wanted logging information about an corruption in AD- just redirect the Shadow Copy Components to a folder, and you can get the *.evt logs that way.
