If you mean the old Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) exams, I believe most of these were discontinued after the Symantec merger that was finalized during mid 2005. The exams themselves probably remained active until the relavent products were rebranded with Symantec names and then the certification would have also switched to Symantec branding.

Kind of means that whatever product you were certified against is almost certainly an old/obsolete version and you would need to recertify for a newer version. For instance I passed a VCP in Backup Exec 9.1 however I also have an SCS (Symantec Certfied Specialist) certificate in Backup Exec 2014 which superceeds the 9.1 exam.

Unfortunately I am not sure where you would check your VCP status, although you could ask via the e-mail address at the bottom of this webpage:

http://www.symantec.com/en/uk/products-solutions/training/certification/path.jsp?pathID=benefits

Note: due to the pending separation of Symantec it is likely any certification programs will be subject to change in the next couple of years.

...on the VMware site I suppose...

If this is a Symantec cert, then try:

www.partnernet.symantec.com

Thanks!
