Which Backup Exec hardware is most involved in a server agent relationship?

We are re-vising the Backup Exec archetecture of a multiserver client.  The question has been asked as to where the CPU power needs to reside.

Short version:  For similar hardware is the Server or Agent CPU going to be taxed with the burden of resources?  Is there a rough percentage of task such as 60/40 or 80/20 that can be applied?

These will all be running server 2008 or 2012 and the latest backup Exec available.

My view is the Agent will be the least noticable and the Server will be maintaining the collection, dispersal, Backup Exec database, file compression and any deduping.  So the Server had better be ready.

Opinions are welconme and any first hane examples would be welcomed.

If using Client Side Dedup more processing ends up on the agents so it won't be un-noticeable with that configuration.

I believe the agnet can use CPU and RAM for other reasons as well - although primarily the disk I/O and network performance potemtially affects the agent the most.
