Which backup solution do i require?

Hi

We have 2 physical servers each hosting 2 virtual servers

2 of the servers are in a failover cluster and one has exchange 2007 (all of which need to be backed up).

So including the virtual machines there are 6 servers, there is also a SAN which they may or may not want to be done.

Also when it comes to large backups like this what sort of media would you recomend for the backup?

Not really enough info

For instance:

1) What Virtualization technology is in use?

2) What operating systems are involved?

3) Are you saying some virtual machines are clustered (inside the virtual environment) or are you saying the physical hosts are clustered that own the virtual machines?

4) Which machines is the SAN connected to?

5) What type of data is stored inside the SAN?

6) What do you mean by large backups (what level of byte count and how long do you need to retain backups for)

7) do you need some form of offisite backup capability?
