access denied

I keep getting an error message that keeps saying access denied when I click exchange mailboxes when creating a backup job. I have tried all of the knowledge base articles and still does not work.

All of the services are started. I do have the exchagne agent installed. I am using backup exec 10d or 10.1.

Could someone please help me out.

Kindly refer the following document:


"Logon Account failed to access \\SRVR\Microsoft Exchange Mailbox. Access is Denied" while selecting Exchange mailboxes.
