Hello Everyone,
I'm just wondering if i do LCR (Local Continuous replication) in my Exchange Server 2007 would it be overly complicated if i had configured the BE 2010 remote agent to backup the Exchange Server 2007 regularly (not the continuous protection server / CPS). ?
is there any best practice document that i should follow in securing all in one Exchange Server 2007 with Backup Exec 2010 if I'd like to use the"continuous protection" approach ?

Here it is James,

Hm... if you are using LCR, then what you can do is that you can ALSO backup the main storage group database, there won't be any performance hit on while the backup is in progress.
so my suggestion in backing up the LCR copy exchange mailbox is rather redundant or not necessary.

ok, that sounds make sense Albert, I'm not sure if it is working or not but in this case I once read from Googling around that the backup of Passive copy sometimes can caused the backup to failed and to make things worst the server must be restarted.
