Hi,

If you are trying to backup to the SAN tape device then you require SSO add-on option.

We just purschased an 8 TB SAN and need to back it up to a tape library. Can I use Backup Exec 10 to do this? If not will NetBackup do it.

NetBackup can do it.
Consider what kind of environment you have.
It may be an enterprise solution you are looking for.
