Hello,
I have obtained the 2010 beta and have trouble installing. clean 2008r2, clean install be2010
I have a sql server 2008 sp1 and tried to install the symantec sql 2005 instance.
Neither instance is used by be2010. the installer quits at the end and rolls back..
error:
11-12-2009,04:12:05 : There is no MSSQL$MSSQLSERVER Service

the links didnt help me much so far...
my instances are:
2005: bkupexec CLEAN INSTALL BY BKEXEC 2010
2005:mssqlserver CLEANINSTALL BY ME
2008: besql2008 clean ins tall by me
does anyone have be2010 running on 2008r2 or knows how to fix it ?
