Good afternoon dear, tell them what the problem is.

Work Environment: A backup server application with the version of Symantec Backup Exec 2012 SP4, the operating system is Windows 2008 R2.

The problem is this:

The jobs are running, but when they have to finish these remain active and never end (attached a screenshot).

As can be seen in the State indicates capture Active and Active Job Status but also if the task has been completed and remains in that state.

This problem is going on when work is sent to both tape and disk has, in both cases keeps that status.

on the other hand that message (delayed start) although that is running the backup job when I check in backup services appears.

I would appreciate your assistance regarding these problems

Check for any outstanding alerts that need to be responded to.  In your case, if you are using a stand-alone tape drive, there is probably an outstanding alert asking you to remove the tape from the tape drive.  This needs to be responded to before the job ends.  You can configure an auto-response for this alert.

The other possibility is that the job is prompting you for more media, tape or disk, because it runs out of space.

...don't delay the start of any of the BE services (normally done during troubleshooting) and see if this fixes it!
