backup exec 2014 services not starting after updating the backup exec 2014

i need your help urgently

i just updated backup exec 2014 to sp1.

3 services are refusing to start

backup exec job engine

backup exec remote agent window

backup exec management service

Open up BEutility.exe and run a repair on the BEDB.

Then check if the services have started, including the SQL service.

i have done a repair of the database all services are on except the 3 mentioned above

1) Check that the service for the BKUPEXEC SQL instance is started before starting these services.

2) Check the eventlog to see what errors have occurred when these services are starting up.

i did exactly just that and it still didn't work.

on the eventlog it says the dependency or group failed to start.those dependency are still not starting

might have to uninstall the update

Try starting the following services in the order which they are listed:

SQL instance, followed by Remote Agent for Windows, Device & Media, Server, Job Engine & Agent Browser service. Which service fails to start first ?

It's hard to follow...can you calrify... Is your SQL service running ?

There should be one service causing the trouble, not 3. 2 just won't start because the third one isn't starting..thats what the dependencies mean.

Are you using the correct logon accounts on the services?
