backup exec X Dell Powervault 124T

Boa tarde

Pessoal já tenho instalado no meu server o backupexec e roda tranquilo, fizemos a aquisição dessa biblioteca da dell com 16 slot, esta instala e faz invetário de um fita que eu tinha aqui e não é nova, porém quando tento fazer um teste aqui com um regra ele falha e se eu tentar execultar algum backup também dá erro,.

Vocês já viram isso?

Hi,

What is the error that you get?

Can you see the robotics (Unknown Medium Changer) and the tape drive in Windows Device Manager, and do they show up in Backup Exec's Devices tab?

Is that library supported in your version of BE? Here are the links to a couple of versions...you don't mention yours...

If the library isn't supported on your version you will have to consider upgrading to a version that does...BE 2010 R3 would work well right now!

This means that there are no overwriteable tapes for the job   Check the OPP of the targeted media set and change it, if necessary, so that there are overwriteable tapes for the job.  Otherwise, add some tapes before the job starts and associate them with the scratch media set so that they can be overwritten.

OK, so that is saying there is no other media to write too, and if you need to put an overwritable tape into your library. If you don't, it's going to keep on prompting you.

Make sure your append/OPP settings for your media set are correct, and that you have enough tapes to write too during the job.
