backup exec agent utility and java

i have serveral windows server 2012 R2 that are running the agent utility (14.2). when installing the agent does symantec also install java on the server or not?  i keep getting a pop up to update java but dont remember ever installing it on the server nor running anything else that requires it.  i have tried to research it online and didnt find anything related.

Hi,

No it doesn't at all. BE doesn't use Java on the remote agent. This must be from another installation.
