backup execex and library on a ESX

hi,

I'm trying to configure backupexec on a virtual machine (windows 2012) under vmware ESX 6.0. Backup exec is configured but i cannot see the robotic library under the storage tab, and when I run the wizard to find robotic library wizard doesn´t find anything. do i need con configure/install any agent on backupexec?

This is not a supported configuration and VMware 5.x dropped support for SCSI passthrough...essentially allowing you to configure a tape library to point to a VM. Read below, and the prefered option is to run BE on a physical server. Your issue is VMware-related. https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000007409
