backup job is complete but gives no completion status

Hello,

i have the following problem, after a backup job is finished it gives no completed status in the log file (it gives failed in the job monitor) according to the log it has finished everything but at the "job completion status" it say job ended but no completion status.
Can i trust the job to be completed or not?? is there a solutiion???
