backup running, but very slowly

After upgrading OS from SBS 2000 to 2003, I finally got the SBE 10.d to back up to tape on our Dell 122T DLT VS80 autoloader.

These are the problems I did have. None of the answers from Veritas support helped, but here the links.

It only worked after uninstalling/ reinstalling SBE 10.d AND with my leaving the drivers for the "Medium Changer" and the "Tape Drive" as Microsoft detected and installed.

"Medium Changer" device:
Benchmark VS640 DLT Autoloader
Driver Provider: Microsoft
Driver Date: 10/1/2002
Driver Version: 5.2.3790.0

"Tape drives" device:
Benchmark DLT tape DLT1/VS80 drive
Driver Provider: Quantum Corporation
Driver Date: 11/20/2003
Driver Version: 2.5.0.0

1. Running Windows SBS 2003 SP1.
2. Backing up files on same disk as the disk where SBE is installed.
3. Autoloader is and always has been on an Adaptec 39160 SCSI card.
4. Speed of backup is 52 MB/min! This has never been a very fast drive, but I always got between 190 and 210 MB/min.

Thanks!
