backup v10 fails on remote SQL 2005 server

All worked fine until the SQL was updated to 2005 not we get the following error;

AOFO: Initialization failure on: "GEOCOMHUSQL01". Advanced Open File Option used: No.
Unable to attach to this resource. Make sure that this resource exists, and then try again.

can any one let me know why, is it not compatibale to SQL 2005? currently don loading up date v10.1 and will upgrade software, will this fix the problem?

Hello,
Please upgrade to version 10.1.
Backup Exec (tm) for Windows Servers version 10d (10.1) does support Microsoft SQL 2005 (Yukon).
To enable this functionality, Hotfix 6 for 5629 will need to be applied to the media server and all remotely protected machines.
