beremote.exe (4164) crashes when backing up a VMWare machine

Below is the event log entry.  This is crashing when backing up a VM.  For me, the problem is occuring only when using a backup-privileges account.  This does not crash when using a domain admin account for the backup job.  I have VMWare vSphere 4.1.

Do you have this problem if you use the domain administrator as the BE Service Account (BESA)?

Do check that the backup-privileges account that you are using has the required rights for use as a BESA.  See the document below
