cannot backup application in hyper-v guest, backupexec 2012 vray

backupexec 2012 vray installed on server2008 r2 sp1 - a hyper-v host. sbs2011 is installed as a VM. when i run a backup on the host that includes the SBS guest, i get  "completed with exeptions"  and this error:

V-79-57344-38727 - Backup Exec failed to collect the necessary metadata for virtual machine 'sbs' to restore individ...

if i set a seperate backuup job for the guest sbs - it works OK.

need help to resolve.

Hmmm... When configuring the backups Seperate "Guest SBS" are you using the same logon accounts??

May need to run debug while attempting the job to best pin down the issue

i use seperate logins. in the "credentials" sections, the vm "sbs" has it's own credentials which is successfull.

when backups are run directly on the sbs machine, and not as part of the backup of vm - it works OK.
