Hi all - I see there are alot of questions about this error - but I couldn't find one that was similar to mine.
ISSUE:
A few days ago we upgraded BE 2010 r2 to 2010 r3
I have now getting the above error almost every night. (e00084f9 communications error has occurred)
I have verifed the Exchange management console versions are the same. (per suggestions of one solution)
One search for the error code sent me to the following page - but the settings suggested here are already our defualt. So that's not it.
Now - in full discloseure - I am also getting a "insufficient disk space" when a duplicate job from GRT to Tape runs - but this is AFTER the above error, so I'm assuming it's related (I am using an 8GB tape - and never fill it over half way on a typical incremental backup)
uh.. .Help???

Pls patch up Backup Exec & the remote agents with all updates... Do ensure a trust has been established between the Backup Exec server & the remote server ... One way would be to push install the remote agent, the other would be to right-click at the server in the selection list & choose - establish trust...

Hi,
Did you include a push-install of your RAWS agents updates to any remote servers? Did you also upgrade to BE 2010 SP2 with any additional patches?
For your second error, check the links below:
