Hi friends

I have a question

I purchased an agent for exchange recently for backupexec 12 and i added this to the license details

So i can see that the exchange agent is licensed so its unlocked  , the question is when i need  to push install a agent on the exchange server is this agent same as Remote agent u use normally to backup ... ie : is the remote agent for servers common
.

Let it be for SQL also |: IS the remote agent common

ie consider that i have purchased the license from symantec and added it .

If you are backing up any resource on a windows server or windows machine, you will need software called "Backup exec Remote Agent for windows server"

Irrespective of what applications are installed the software remains the same.
Installing license on backup server will only initiate the dll's that backup the exchange or SQL or Oracle.

So "Backup exec Remote Agent for windows server" will always be the same on remote machines
