error in Recover message from Exchange 2007

Dear Experts

 

I have Syamntec Backup Exec 2014 ,I taked a successfully backup of my exchange server (Full backup).

I am trying to restore message of mailbox but I get error messge it is :

Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe00002f8 - Cannot open one or more mail messages because of unknown MAPI errors. Review the job log for more information. Final error category: Resource Errors .

 

I need a solution for this problem if any one faced this problem .

my enviromment is windos domain( win2008 AD ) and the server of exchange is 2007 SP2

Hello all ,

 

I would like to update this post and tell you my issue had solved after geeting the help from Symantec Sopport Team.I would like to thank you all and special thanks to Support Team from Symantec.

the problem was in the credentional (in permissions).

Did you install the Exchange 2007 Management Tool on the media server?

Are you restoring from tape or disk ? If tape, run a duplicate job to disk and then retry the restore.

Yes I had installed Exchange Management Tool on BE 2014 server

I am restoring from NAS .

I would recommend you to log a formal support case as this error is very generic and it would be simpler if we can debug and find out the failure cause.
