another issue now with backup exec 2012 is Not able to take backup on disk with GRT enabled same is working fine with tape.
Final error: 0xe00002f7 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information.
Final error category: Resource Errors

I tried the option on the link but same issue... please help

Received reply from Symantec tech. I'm going to try this and will update if this can solve my issue
On BE and the exch server
•Click Start -> Run and type "regedit". Click OK.
•Within the Registry Editor, navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Engine\Exchange
•Right click and add a new String Value, "OnHostTemp".
•Right click and set the value of OnHostTemp to "c:\temp".
•Restart all the Backup Exec service on Media server and Backup Exec Remote Agent service on the Exchange Server.
•Run the backup job of Exchange Resources from media server.
Note: Verify that the account(s) used by Backup Exec have full control over the c:\temp directory, if the permissions on this folder are not set properly then the backup may still fail with the above error
