exchange agent needed?

 Could anyone tell me if I am running Small business server, and I want to install backup exec.  would I need to install the exchange agent?

Hello,

Backup Exec SBS comes along with Exchange and SQL agent licenses. You do not require a seperate License for any agent.

You need to go for Backup Exec for windows Server SBS edition License.

 Yes, you will need the Exchange agent for BE if you are planning on using that.
There is a SBS version of BE available.  This version includes the Exchange agent.  If you already have BE, acquiring the SBS version might be less expensive than acquiring the agent for the full BE
