exchange backup not backing up all boxes

recently my backup job that backs up exchange 2007 seems to not backup all the mailboxes. I have full backup cheked and it is suppose to use granular backing up so that i can restore one mailbox if needed, but when i go to restore on say the last nights backup, i only see about 1/4 of my mailboxes.

any ideas where to start looking?

 There are a number of posted problems and solutions in the support KB, you should start there.  Fro example here is one:

Or in the case of 12.5 a hotfix, that has to be installed on the BE server, and the agent re-pushed to your exchange server.

Hello,

The "restore" selection list it only show 32 mailboxes in each storage group.

This was a issue with Backup Exec 12.5 and it has been fixed in the following Hotfix:

Push out all the remote agents as the rmeote agents will be updated as well...
