Just add the server as you

Just add the server as you did on first install.

BE will discover the installed agent and will add the Server without an install if there is no newer update on the BE-Server.

Yes I'm talking about

Yes I'm talking about Symantec Updates.

Not if you select on the add dialog not to Update the agent.

But you should test it with a Server you are able to reboot.

Another way is to go to the Server and ad the new Backup Server over the Backup Exec Remote Agent Utility (Startmenue) in the list of Backup Servers. The agent appears in die BE-Console after a Service Restart of the Remote Agent normaly, or just wait 5 Minutes.
