how to delete source after backup

I am trying to use Backup Exec for a specific task of archiving a folder to an external hard drive and delete the source files once it is done. Is it possible? Thanks.

Hello,

It is possible.

Select "Archive" Method for Backup. Archive method will copy the selections on the TAPE / Disk and Delete the Source files.

We are using Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 Management Solution and there is no option to use the "Archive" method.
Which software would we be able to find this feature?

Hello,

In Backup Exec for Windows Server we can find Archive method of Backups where the sourse files are deleted after the Backup is over.

In the previous post you said that you are using "Backup Exec"
