I am trying to configure my Oracle 10g library libobk.so with BackupExec 2010 and library doesnt exist in backup agent.
Can anyone suggest any solutions for this as Symantec support says Oracle on Sparc10 on 64 bit with oracle is not supportive to backup oracle but OS is certified.
Thanks,

is Oracle 10g on Sparc 64 supported with BackupExec .

Symantec says that oracle 10g on Sparc 64 is not support to backup.
If yes any certified procedure would be very appreciative.

Is there any work around for oracle to directly backup to Exec.

if you have the disk space, can you use Oracle to dump to a flat file, and then grab that with BackupExec (Not familiar with Oracle at all, I know you can do this with MS SQL  - again, if you have the disk space to hold a database dump)
