need to reset 2 logical tape drives from among 16 slots prior to recatalog/restore

Hi,

   I am restoring a crashed server. I have BE 12 (I installed only quickstart by mistake but have the full std license). I want to recatalog tapes but had set up two virtual drives on my Sony LIB-162, 0 on 1-6, and 1 on 7-16. I am forgetting how to re-establish these virtual drives. Will there be a problem doing so in quickstart?

If you add change the keycode/serial number entered into the licenisng screen from the Quickstart one to the full one does it change the version without doing a complete re-install (it should do as long as both quickstart and full serial numbers are the same version (12.0) of Backup Exec.

Thanks, Colin. I take it the full version will allow me to configure the logical tape drives. I ran LiveUpdate after mistakenly installing quickstart. Will your method still work, or should I simply uninstall quickstart and start over?
