remote agent 11d and 2010

Been running backup exec 11d - have installed 2010 on a new server - when I try and backup files from a server that has the 11d remote agent on it, the service stops running and I get a communications error. If I install the remote agent for 2010 will it still allow my 11d backup to run.

BE 11d remote agents are incompatible with BE 2010 and BE 11d will not be able to communicate with the BE 2010 remote agent.  For remote systems, you got to choose which remote agent to install and then use the correct media server to back it up.  For example, you install BE 2010 remote agent on a server then you have to use BE 2010 to back it up.
