removing old msx2000 server from backup jobs

Hi,

I have backup exec 9.1 running on windows 2000 server. We had an old
exchange 2000 server. A few weeks ago we setup a new windows 2003 server
with MS_Exchange 2003SP1. The backup of this new server works fine, but
since we stopped the old server I can't remove the mailboxes, information
store and public folders of the old server in backup exec. When I remove the
hole server it looks good, but when I look in the backup list again, the
entries are in as if I didnt remove anything.
The old MSX2000 server was new installed as a Win20003 Server but without
Exchange so backup exec finds a server with the same servername. How can I
remove the entries of the old exchange server.

Thanks

Uwe

Try switching the job selection to text mode and then remove the old exchange server entries.

Hi,

Open the particular selection list and change it to text view. Remove the old exchange server entry from there.

Or you cn create a new selection list also .

Update us on the same and revert for any further Query
Hope this will help you

Thank you
Gauri
