Hi, i need to restore data from old tapes . These tape contain data from old microsoft domain and backup server was BE 10.
Now we have new micorsoft domain, new backup server , new server and no password information about old domain . I've installed a trial version of BE 20 on server with tape library (the same that was useed to backkup old tape). I made inventory and catalog of tape and i was able to see backup set but i wasn't able to restore . I can only see volume from old server but i see "THIS ITEM IS NOT INCLUDED". (see attahcced file).
I have to made different procedure than inventory/Catalog?
Is it possible to restore these data (no password from old domain)?
Is it possible to get data from these tape with exeternal tool ?
