Re: restore single table space or data file from oracle

Individual table space/ data file restore isn't offered by Backup Exec.

Re: restore single table space or data file from oracle

It is not possible to do a Point-in-Time-Recovery of a single tablespace.

It is possible to do a Point-In-Time Recovery of the whole instance/database using the control-file-recovery.

you may recreate the TS as a dummy so the tablespace is recognized in Backup Exec and then to start a recover of this TS.
