sauvegarde bases sql

svp vraiment aidez moi à pouvoir sauvegarder mes base SQL.

je rappel que j'ai même créer un compte de connexion SQL, mais je n'ais toujour pas de bon resultat

If you select the .mdf and .ldf files from under the C: drive, you are not using the SQL agent and as previously advised, these files are automatically excluded to prevent a double backup when you select the databases from under the Microsoft SQL Databases node.  When you select the databases from under the Microsoft SQL Databases node, you are then using the Microsoft SQL agent.

To backup the transaction logs, you need to follow the procedure in my article below

Also, do read the SQL Server chapter in the Admin Guide.

Hi,

Do you use the BE SQL agent, or are you doing a folder backup? If you're doing a folder backup, then BE is skipping the SQL flat files due to the Active File Exclusion.

You'd either need to stop this (editing it out!) or purchase the SQL agent.

If you are using the SQL agent and it isn't backing up SQL properly, and you're on BE 2010 R2, then consider an upgrade to BE 2010 R3 with SP4 as this fixed a number of issues with previous versions.

Otherwise remove the SQL agent, and then reinstall it.

BE 2010 R3 ISO below:

http://trialware.norton.com/files/fc/Backup_Exec_2010_13.0.5204_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual_DVD.iso

If you decide to upgrade, upgrade the media server and then run LiveUpdate to get SP4 and any additional patches. Then push-install these to your remote servers you might have.

Thanks!

1. Copy the Data and Catalog directories under the BE installation directory. 2. Burn the downloaded R3 ISO image onto a DVD and run it That is it. Nothing special.

You just use Windows Explorer or the DOS Copy command to make a copy of these directories

Did you select the databases from under the Microsoft SQL Databases node or from under the C: drive? You should be doing the first option

We exclude MDF and LDF files from being backed up via drive letters as you should select using the agent and via the SQL databases selection so that the SQL Backup Programming Interface (API) from Microsoft is correctly used to protect you SQL data. Please review the Backup Exec Administrators Guide for how to backup and protect Microsoft SQL.
