sending emails from Backup Exec through Exchange

Hi,

newly installed of Backup Exec 21 on a Windows Server R2 with an on-premise Exchange 2013 should send status and report emails to internal and external email receipients.

I have configured a receive connector on the Exchange which works quite well, as long as I do not activate authentication in Backup Exec. However to strengthen security, I would like all email clients to authenticate themselves to the Exchange.

How do I have to configure the receive connector to achieve this ?
