i am having Backup exec ver 10.0 5484 and sql server agent 2000 licence,
i am newly installing sql server 2005,can i run database job from this server is it possible?
or i need to purchase 2005 licence....
kindly clarrify my doubt

You need to be on v10d HotFix 6 or later to support SQL 2005 (see the v10.1 SCL)
v10d is a free upgrade from v10.0. You can download it from
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/downloads.jsp?pid=15047
