sql backup 14

Hi I use backup exec server v14,b1786,r01 with sql 2008 32bit So I want to move to sql 2012 64bit Please help to update the version sql 2008 to sql 2012

The newer BE version use SQL express 2014. You can upgrade BE.

OR

Install sql 2012 instance and then use beutility to change backup exec database location

Do i have to remove Sql 2008 first then install sql 2012

or install sql 2012 

or Upgrade 2008 to 2012
