Im running backup exec  2010.  I have a sql express 2005 installed.  I cant back the sql database up.  I get the following error:

There was a problem running the DBCC.

In this case you have the Consistency check checked withing the BE, if it is checked then it will give command to Sql to run the consistency check and if there is some error in consistency check it will show the error.

Try to run the job without the consitency check , from the sql tab make the consitency check NONE and try the backup again.

If it works ok then you need to run the consistency check withing the sql and get it corrected
