unistall reinstall Veritas Backup Exec Remote Agent

i need to unistall reinstall Veritas Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter CORE (64 bit).

I did not manage to remove this product by usual means.

I try it by this article https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100002086.html

but when i try to reinstall Veritas Backup Exec Remote Agent in logs c:\ProgramData\Veritas\Backup Exec\Logsi see this:

How i can forcibly reinstall Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows ?

Without seeing the entire install log I am gussing the agent can't be removed either.

 

I would suggest trying the following Microsoft Fixit to see if you can remove the agent /cleanup any agent present then reboot.

I find it very concerning that you followed Article 100002086

It clearly says that it is for BE  2010, 2010 R2 and 2010 R3 ONLY

There are probably all sorts of orphaned registry entries that we are not going to trace in a forum discussion. 

My advice is to log a Support call with Veritas for assistance.
