We have just upgraded to a new server in our office and installed Backup Exec ver 12 for servers. I was trying to push the agent to a desktop that was operating under an older server using verion 9.1. I cannot push the new agent or even install it derectly unless I remove the old agent but it says it needs the old server to complete the operation. Any ideas on how to get around it? The reason we have a new server is becasue the old one quit and would not be revived.
