Adding a node having read only filesystem

Hi Team,

We have 6 node active-active cluster, our client has a requirement that we will have to add a 7th node which will have read only filesystem setup.

What do we require to do in VCS setup.

Thanks & regards,

Allaboutunix

Correct.

We don't always have access to documentation when we reply, but easy enough to apply the theory, like you just did!

Add the mount resource for this node with localised attributes so that this node will mount the filesystem read-only.

If you have an application resource that depends on this mount and needs to update any files or databases on the filesystem, this will not work.

Did you mean to say, that while adding a mount resource declare the MountOpts attribute to "ro"
