Cluster ID in vxfenadm o/p

Jbert

Hello experts,

I use 5.1 SP1 SFCFS stack. When I execute vxfenadm -s all -f fen_disks, where fen_disks has coord disks, the o/p has cluster id in it. But disks in a dg does not have a cluster id in it when i execute vxfenadm -s all -f all_disks. Is it expected? Doesn't all the disks in a DG should have a cluster id defined?

Hello,

Yes that would be expected behaviour as per this:

https://sfdoccentral.symantec.com/sf/5.1SP1/solaris/html/vcs_admin/ch10s03s01.htm

It clearly states, only coordinator disks key format has cID (cluster ID) in it while data disks key format doesn't have the same.
