I'm guessing that there is no real reason to change and agent from Mode 3 to Mode 2 (use online monitoring only) and where an agent has default of Mode 2, like CVMVxconfigd, this in reality means mode 3 is not available - is this correct.

Mike and Dan,
Also, do not forget the ProPCV attribute.
When combined with IMF in the application agent, it would prevent applications from coming online on offline nodes.
