Instructions for deleting keys can be found here:

https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/6.0.1/solaris/productguides/html/sfhas_tshoot/ch14s0...

You either need to make sure to delete the key from the node that originally wrote it, or write your own temporary key. As the key you're deleting starts with 'A' it was written by node 0. Which is likely to be system12 (but you can check in file /etc/llthosts).

If you can't delete the key from that node, then you first need to write your own temporary key. The preempt command you're running looks like it is trying to use temporary key 'EDU'. Write this temp key to the disks (with -m option) prior to running the preempt.

Hi,

you are missing one step as I remember from the steps .... you can preampt & abort the keys using a temporary key ... meaning you have to register a temp key first & with the help of temp key you can preampt the key ..

My simple recommendation here would be to use "vxfenclearpre" command .... utility will do all of these steps for you & is simple to use ...
