How do I check my version of the various products?

I want to apply the Veritas Storage Foundations 5.0 Maint Pack 3 Rolling Patch 2.  The doc says I need to be at VCS 5.0 MP3 which I know I have.

But it also talks about having  "Storage Foundation 5.0 MP3", "SFCFS 5.0 MP3" (and some Oracle and DB2 stuff I know we are not using).  What is the best way to see what Veritas products I am actually using and what level they are at?

TIA, Scott

Yes, 5.0.30.00 typically would mean the 5.0MP3 release.

VCS: pkginfo -l VRTSvcs
CFS agents: pkginfo -l VRTScavf
VXFS: pkginfo -l VRTSvxfs
VXVM: pkginfo -l VRTSvxvm
VCS Oracle: pkginfo -l VRTSvcsor
VCS DB2: pkginfo -l VRTSvcsdb

This should give you good idea regarding what level you are at. Replace pkginfo with appropriate commands per your platform.

Satish - do you know if the "30" in (for example) VRTSgab-5.0.30.00-MP3_SLES10 means MP3?  Everywhere I have a VRTS package that lists "30" it also lists "MP3".
