I also recommend downloading VOM ( Veritas Operations Manager ), it is a free utiltiy which installs a VOM server on a Linux box.
This VOM server will scan your entire Storage Foundation and Veritas Cluster Server estate, and will report back the state of every
application and server in your data center. It can also be run to determine health checks which proactively looks for High Availability
risks in your environment including things like one of the nodes in your cluster is down.

You can find VOM here

Hi,

There is another Veritas solution called Disaster Recovery Advisor, this checks configurations accross both HA and DR clusteres to ensure there is no configuration drift. It also checks to see if things like mount points exist, binaries are correct levels (both for VCs and apps) and that storage and its replication have been preseneted and correctly configured.

Hope this helps you?

Thanks

By the way you can also run a script which you can get from VOS (Veritas Operations Serviices) at

http://vos.symantec.com

It has all the latest patches, downloads, and document info.

It also has scripts for testing the health of your cluster and you can then anonymize and upload the information to track it.

Features we are adding to VOS include the ability to monitor how your cluster conifugration might change over time (OS version changes, etc).
