NetApp snapmirror agent error on Redhat LINUX

Hi,

We install VCS 6.0.1 on redhat enterprise server 6 and we use Netapp Snapmirror agent for replication the LUN.

When try to failover to other system, it trigger error as below:

V-16-20059-1012

(znmp157) NetAppSnapMirror:US-FIX-ALL-DB-SnapMirror:online:ONTAPI 'snapmirror-resync' failed for destination location ZNTX01:vol10_zntx01, source location ZNTX01:vol10_zntx01 at filer ZNTX01. Error : Snapmirror resynchronization of vol10_zntx01 to ZNTX01:vol10_zntx01 : request refused by source filer; check configuration on source Aborting resync. . Retrying ...

Also the agent edit the /etc/snapmirror.conf wrongly.

For example,

 ZNTXDP01:vol10_zntxdp01  ZNTXDP01:vol10_zntxdp01 -  - - -

It use same filer name on source and destination.

Is it bug on NetApp Snapmirror Agent? or setting on VCS?

Hi Alex,

Are you seeing the issue as even if you have different names for Local filer and Remote filer in the file, VCS agent changes the file to same name ?

Can you please paste here the details of /etc/snapmirror.conf ?
