Hi,

Can any body provide me either the link or the Document for the Prerequisite for the Veritas High Availability for Oracle on Solaris.

How many NICs are required in the servers for failover if it is attached to the ISCSI Storage.

What are the Oracle supported versions in Veritas HA.

Is all the NIC should be in the different subnet.

Hi,

Although your questions are quite you need further investigations for your need.

https://vias.symantec.com/vias/vias/general  will be a good start point.

At that side you may enter your parameters and will get good checklist sample.
Your VCS configuration normally will need two nic for heartbeat and two for public network.
Just heartbeats must be in diffrent subnets.

There are some recommendations but they are not always mandatory. You will decide to your configuration.

Version and release information is very important .

For example 5.0 release supports Oracle 9i - 10G R1 and 10G R2.

You must read release notes.
